IFB launches new Podcast series The In’Abooters
Aberdeen-based Managed IT Services provider IFB is excited to announce the launch of its new podcast series The In’Abooters. With a passion for technology, people's stories, and the local area they've thrived in, IFB brings engaging conversations to the forefront.
Earlier this year, IFB introduced Online with IFB – a platform featuring podcast and webinar series hosted by CEO Graeme Gordon and sponsored by IFB.NET. The webinar series began in March, featuring CyberSmart's Adam Pilton discussing cybersecurity, followed by an April session with Katie Milligan from Openreach on connectivity.
This month IFB released a new podcast series - The In’Abooters offering exceptional conversations with a diverse array of individuals who share a common love for the vibrant city of Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland. Each episode, hosted by Graeme Gordon, explores the unique stories and experiences of guests - whether they're natives to Aberdeen, adventurous souls, or newcomers who have fallen for the charm of the North East - they have one thing in common: an unbreakable bond with this North East region.
“We are delighted to launch In’Abooters podcast. We are a bit geeky and passionate about what we do and where we do it. We love people’s stories, technology, and the area we have grown up in for over 28 years”, says Graeme Gordon.
He adds: “We have been developing and playing with this idea for a while. Recording the first few episodes was lots of fun and very engaging, and provided encouragement to continue with the topic! Each episode reveals guests’ captivating journeys, uncovering their connection to the North East, and also covers the Tech aspect. But it's not only serious introspection – we promise plenty of laughs along the way and of course, questions about the things that really matter: rowie or fine piece?”.
The first three episodes, already available, feature fantastic guests: Bob Sanguinetti from Port of Aberdeen, Ryan Crighton from Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce, and the inspiring Sheryl Newman from Appetite.
“Every Thursday we release new episode. This morning you can tune into a talk with Jim Savege, Chief Executive of Aberdeenshire Council, which promises great engagement”, added Jana Vidis, who leads the marketing team at IFB. Jana continues: “For our team this is a very welcome addition to our activities, helping to promote the IFB brand and positively impact the North East region and business community”.
