We deliver services that connect workers and devices, data and software, users and customers - in fact the entire IoT environment - at high speeds, securely and globally. Our expertise supports oil and gas production companies and also the diverse supply chain that supports them – where speed accuracy and availability are key to productivity.  

We connect devices, machines and plant on remote difficult and expensive to access locations so they can be monitored and managed remotely by cloud-based systems operated by key personnel in other locations. This helps with reducing travel and onsite time for valuable personnel, improves predictive maintenance as well as increasing the value of data and data analytics real time.

Our customers work in demanding compliance driven environments that require people and systems to be continually available, and data and files kept securely for long periods of time – sometimes many years – and to be readily available if needed. 

IFB understands the complexities in delivering and maintaining all of this for our customers – and we make it easy and straightforward. We deliver telephony systems with high-speed connectivity from almost any location so front-line teams can communicate and support their customers. 

Our team provides highly flexible cloud-based infrastructure for servers and data back up and combine all of this with a range of security services designed to scan, report on and eliminate and protect against vulnerabilities.  

Developing the public sector

We have all become better connected as digital citizens and we have played our part in this too. IFB has helped leading public bodies and organisations with staying connected with and improving the online experience for citizens, employees and partners. 

While the need to interact digitally with citizens and stakeholders across a range of areas, sectors and activities has increased in recent years, this has moved to a must have and without much preparation in the last few months.  

Plans have been accelerated and turned in to actions through necessity to cope with displaced workforces supporting public sector activities and the communities they support. IFB has helped to enable remote workers needs across thousands of locations, providing upgrades and adding new services as needed to infrastructure, firewalls and bandwidth, software licensing and importantly do this in the shortest time and maintain these for as long as needed.

At IFB, we support and help some of the UK’s most important charities and 3rd sector organisations.

Their need is to operate efficiently and productively for themselves and for the end user they support - something we take great pride in while budgets and funding is under critical pressures. 

It can be easy to forget that charities and third sector organisations are like many and any other business and have a need to get the best return for their investments in IT services and the resources. We help by working with our customers to understand their organisational needs and help them deliver these.  

This includes supporting front line personnel working in places where they are needed, securely connected them to the resources they need to perform their roles and to make a difference. At the same time, we ensure that the infrastructure needed to do this is modern and agile in terms of its technical, operational and commercial performance.
