IFB achieve Cyber Security Trusted Partner status

Aberdeen-based business IT Services provider, IFB, is proud to announce its acceptance to the Trusted Partner scheme established by the Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland.

This recognition, also endorsed by Police Scotland, reinforces IFB's commitment to providing the highest standards of Cyber Security services which they deliver and support for businesses and organisations.

IFB’s CEO Graeme Gordon commented. “We work with organisations and businesses to deliver the benefits of improved security and where needed achieving certification, IFB believes that no organisation is too small to do this.

Our Trusted Partner and Cyber Essentials Certifying Body status is a testament to our teams ongoing commitment to helping businesses proactively fortify their organisations and minimise cyber risks".

The Trusted Partner scheme’s primary objective is to support organisations across Scotland to reach recognised standards in cyber security and help them by improving and maintaining cyber security practices with a view to achieving Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications.

These are the Government backed baseline standard accreditations in cyber security and are comprised of selected organisations who have invested resources, time and commitment on an ongoing basis to support and deliver better cyber security.


Graeme added: “IFB recently reached Cyber Essentials Plus certification for the fourth consecutive year alongside our IASME accreditations, which allows us to also assist our customers achieve this level of accreditation. The work and recognition by our team independently demonstrate our own security credentials and also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to improving cyber security for our customers, partners and supply chain”.

Achieving the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications is an independently recognised way for an organisation of any size to build trust and confidence in how it does business. It shows how important an organisation takes cyber resilience for itself and those who they work with and is fast becoming an in-demand qualification for many contracts and tenders.
